Founder

American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist with a background in nutrition, exercise science, strength training, mobility, and health coaching. Alyssa takes an evidence-based, practical approach focused on helping clients move better, get stronger, and build sustainable habits that support long-term health and performance.

She is the owner of Harbor Strength Co. in Portland, Maine, where she works with a wide range of clients through personal training, remote coaching, and health coaching.

Jackson Gormley was born and raised on Long Island, New York, where he began dancing at the age of 11. He went on to train more seriously at Eglevsky Ballet and Ballet Academy East, and later attended Point Park University, graduating in the spring of 2021 with his BFA in Dance.

After graduation, Jackson moved to Maine and joined Portland Ballet as a Company Dancer for the 2021–2022 season, and has been dancing with the company ever since. He discovered his passion for fitness through dance and the cross-training required for performance. Since moving to Maine, Jackson earned his Certification for Personal Training from the American Council on Exercise and has been working in local fitness studios as both a personal trainer and group fitness instructor for the past 5 years. 

His client-centered approach blends evidence-based programming, sport-specific cross-training, and sustainable habit-building to help athletes and beginners alike get stronger, move better, and feel more confident. Whether you’re returning to training or starting fresh, Jackson creates individualized plans that meet you where you are and guide you to your goals.
